Junior sessions will then restart after the Easter Holidays at Tristrams playing field on Monday 13th April, 7pm ,with the Monday senior run venue also moving here.
The Sausage Sizzle will take place at John Hodgson's ,Mayfield ,Carr Bank Road nr Storth on Wednesday 1st April to celebrate the end of the Kendal Winter League season. Juniors who have raced in this series will be presented with a treat! We will also be presenting our cheque to the Alzheimers Society.
Run at 7pm prompt with BBQ from 8.Bring your sausages,burgers and a drink.
There's a competition to design a club badge/logo which is open to all members young and old which will be judged at the Sausage Sizzle.
Design criteria:
1.Size nominal 3 inches either as a shield, round,or rectangular.
2.Should be based on the club vest colours of red , navy blue and white. (The computer colours used on the club website to match with the vests are red #cc0000 navy blue #28405d white #ffffff )
3.Should include the words "Dallam Running Club".
The winning designer will get free entry to 2 of this year's club events (orienteering night,cross bay ,Dallam Dash,20 Barriers,Arnside Knott etc) or a free meal at the Xmas run.
Please bring along your full colour designs on the night please but also email a copy to fellrunninggills@gmail.com and david.g.shinn@gmail.com beforehand .
Anyone not able to get to the Sizzle night can still enter their designs this way.
You can do a freehand copy and send a photo of it ,or generate one by computer.
