There will be just one more junior training evening at Tristrams, Heversham before we start on the Dallam School Astroturf at Milnthorpe on October 3rd. There is very little daylight left after 7pm and even though the majority of juniors enjoy the variety of terrain offered ( and the swings) on the Head, it is likely that the locals will be worried that aliens have landed with the numbers of mysterious white lights seen wandering over the hillside.
So, Dowy and I hope to see you turn up in numbers again after our efforts to keep the sessions going through the summer holidays when numbers did obviously shrink. The club will pay for the astroturf session , but if you can contribute a small donation for your hour`s exercise it would be appreciated.
The Monday senior run will also switch back to Milnthorpe until the Spring. PS This Saturday, there are some races at Orton Primary School as part of their Autumn Fair which start at 1pm. U11 ( 8-11 ) 1 mile, U14 2 mile, and U 16 also 2mile . There is a Senior 6mile race at 2pm.I had a go last year and will probably be there again.Orton is about 40 minutes up the M6 from Lancaster exit at Tebay.
